Veal And Peppers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. cubed veal
1 large red bell pepper, sliced julienne style
1 large green bell pepper, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes in juice, cut into quarters
1/2 lb. shredded Mozzarella cheese
10 fresh basil leaves
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preparation

In a large frying pan, melt 2 teaspoons shortening and lightly brown veal cubes.
Add whole tomatoes and juice, sliced red peppers, green peppers, mushrooms, onion and basil.
Add the seasonings, the salt, pepper and garlic salt.
Simmer for approximately 1 1/2 hours or until veal is tender.
Just before serving, add shredded Mozzarella cheese.
Heat until cheese is melted.
Serve and enjoy!
Serves 4 people.
