Christmas Morning Strata - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. pork sausage meat
1 (12 oz.) loaf French bread
2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms
6 large eggs
1 qt. milk
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese (2 c.)
1 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese (1 c.)
chopped parsley (for garnish)
Preparation

Night before serving, grease a 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish. Cook pork sausage meat, stirring frequently to break up sausage until thoroughly cooked and no longer pink.
Using slotted spoon, remove sausage to paper towel to drain.
