Ham Bone Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 trimmed ham bone
1 medium can tomatoes
2 ribs celery, sliced
2 Tbsp. barley
salt
2 large potatoes, diced
6 qt. water
1 tsp. dried parsley
3 peppercorns
3 carrots, sliced
1/2 head cabbage, cut up
Preparation

Place ham bone in a 2 gallon kettle; add water, tomatoes, parsley, celery, peppercorns, barley, carrots and salt to taste. Boil for 2 hours.
Add cabbage and potatoes.
Cook 30 minutes.
