Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white corn meal
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. jalapeno peppers, chopped small
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
    3 eggs
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Melt butter in large, hot skillet.
    Mix all ingredients and pour half into skillet.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until lightly browned.
