Glossy Chocolate Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. margarine
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix together in saucepan the sugar and cornstarch.
Stir in boiling water, cocoa and salt.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture thickens.
Remove from heat.
Stir in margarine and vanilla.
Spread on cake while hot.
