Cole Slaw Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium heads cabbage
    1 large green pepper
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 medium onions
    3/4 c. salad oil
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Shred cabbage; dice pepper and onion and mix sugar, vinegar, salad oil and salt.
    Bring to boil and pour over cabbage mixture. Do not stir for at least 1 hour.
    Chill and serve.
    Makes 1 gallon. Keeps up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.
