Apple Streusel Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. chopped nuts
1/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. chopped apples

Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and cinnamon.
Add beaten egg, milk and melted shortening.
Add raw apples and nuts and mix well.
Pour into an 8-inch buttered pan or an angel cake pan.
Sprinkle with topping.
