Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Combine boiling water, oatmeal and butter; let stand 10 minutes.
Add sugars and mix well.
Add eggs and mix well.
Sift together flour, soda and cocoa; mix.
Fold in 1/2 bag of chocolate chips.
