Grandma'S Fat Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. warm water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    2 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 egg
    1/3 c. dry milk
Preparation
    Dissolve the sugar and salt in water, then add the yeast and let stand until it dissolves and bubbles, then add the shortening and the egg.
    Mix well.
    Add flour and dry milk.
    Beat well until thoroughly mixed.
    Let stand covered until mixture doubles in size.
    Fry slowly over medium heat, one spoonful at a time, until golden brown.
    Makes 4 servings.
