Mad Hatter'S Apple Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 pecan halves (for garnish)
6 oz. pecan halves
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 large apples, cored, peeled and chopped
3 large eggs
1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. heavy cream

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Bake pecan halves until fragrant, about 5 minutes.
Set 8 pecans aside.
