Scalloped Asparagus With Artichokes - cooking recipe

1 (14 oz.) can cut green asparagus, drained
2 tall cans asparagus
2 (14 oz.) cans artichokes, drained (reserve juice)
1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
4 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1/2 c. artichoke juice (from the can)
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. Accent
1/4 lb. grated sharp cheese (1 c.)
Preparation

Layer vegetables in a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish.
Melt butter; blend in flour slowly.
Add milk and artichoke juice, stirring to make cream sauce. Add salt, pepper, Accent and half of the cheese. Pour over vegetables.
Top with remaining cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Serves 12.
