Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. egg whites
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cake flour
1 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Before you start your cake, put the angel food pan into the oven which should be set at 400\u00b0.
Beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt until stiff.
Fold in granulated sugar and vanilla.
Sift together, the flour and powdered sugar.
Fold into the mixture.
Pour into hot pan.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 23 minutes.
