Peaches 'N Cream Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 stick butter, melted
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
4 c. peeled peaches, sliced
sugar
pinch of salt
2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
1/2 pkg. peach gelatin
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. milk
1 carton whipped topping
Preparation

Make crust of butter and graham cracker crumbs.
Reserve 1/2 cup for topping.
Put in a 9 x 9 x 3-inch pan.
Put scant 1/2 cup of sugar in peaches; set aside.
Mix 3/4 cup sugar, salt, cornstarch and water; cook until clear and thick.
Add gelatin and dissolve.
Allow to cool, then add peaches.
Beat cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar.
Gradually add milk; continue to beat.
Fold in topping.
Put 1/2 cream cheese mixture over crust.
Add peaches.
Top with remaining cream cheese mixture.
Sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
