Red Beans And Rice With Smoked Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans (16 oz.) red or kidney beans
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 bay leaf
    2 strips bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
    6 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Place all ingredients, except sausage and rice, in 2-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer. Cover and cook for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Add sausage to red bean mixture the last 30 minutes. Serve over rice.
