Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs, beaten
1 c. whole kernel cream-style corn
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream
2/3 c. salad oil
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 small can green jalapeno peppers
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Combine first 7 ingredients.
Mix well.
Pour half of batter in 9-inch pan.
Seed jalapeno peppers and cut open one side.
Lay flat on top of batter and sprinkle with 1/2 cup of grated cheese. Top with remaining batter and sprinkle with 1/2 cup grated cheese. Bake for 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
Serve hot.
