Banana Cake With Butter Cream Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 large or 3 small bananas
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 lb. box of 10X sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter, softened
3 Tbsp. milk

Preparation

Cut up the bananas and place in a small bowl.
Beat with a mixer.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together sugar and 1/2 c. margarine. Add eggs and vanilla.
Add buttermilk.
Beat constantly, add mashed banana and flour mixture alternately.
Pour into
9 inch greased cake pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes.
Cool on rack.
