Pennsylvania Dutch Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
salt (pinch)
1 Tbsp. shortening
1/4 c. milk
1 stewing chicken (skinned and deboned)
sliced potatoes
Preparation

Mix flour, salt and shortening, cut enough milk in to moisten so it will hold together.
Roll out as thin as possible and cut to make noodles.
In large kettle, alternate noodles, potatoes and chicken until used up. Pour hot broth from chicken over all layers and boil until done, about 15 minutes.
May season with onion, salt, celery seed or parsley flakes.
