Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. evaporated milk (Carnation small can)
    1 Tbsp. butter
    9 marshmallows, cut each in 8 pieces or 80 small
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cut large marshmallows in 8 pieces.
    Mix sugar, milk, butter and marshmallows and cook on very low heat until marshmallows melt, about 5 minutes.
    Remove from burner; add chocolate chips and vanilla.
    Have a pan, 8-inch square, buttered and sprinkled with nuts.
    Beat fudge until well mixed and pour immediately over nuts in pan as fudge hardens quickly.
