Sunday Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew beef (don't brown)
    1 can golden mushroom soup
    1/2 medium onion, sliced
    1/4 c. dry sherry or 1 Tbsp. vinegar and 1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Put everything in a casserole.
    Cover.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 3 hours.
    Serve with noodles.
