Ingredients

1 (9-inch) crust
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. strawberries, sliced
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. whipping cream
dash of nutmeg
Preparation

Combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and nutmeg.
Mix until well blended.
Mash 3/4 cup of strawberry slices; add to cream cheese mixture.
Add powdered sugar to whipping cream; beat until stiff peaks form.
Fold remaining strawberries into cream cheese mixture.
Pour into crust.
Garnish with strawberries, cut in halves, around edge.
Chill several hours or overnight.
