Apple Or Pear Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. apples or pears, peeled, cored and thin sliced
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. frozen unsweetened apple juice concentrate
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
dash of ground nutmeg
3 Tbsp. corn oil margarine, softened
10 graham cracker squares, crushed (3/4 c.)
Preparation

Toss apples or pears with 1 tablespoon flour in an 8-inch square baking dish.
Add concentrated apple juice.
Coat well.
In small bowl, combine the rest of the flour and the spices with the margarine and mix until well blended.
Gradually stir in the graham cracker crumbs until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over the fruit.
Bake for 30 minutes until the topping is lightly browned and the fruit is tender.
Makes 16 (2-inch) squares (1 square = 1 fruit equivalent).
