Egyptian Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 small onion
    salt and pepper
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 cans beef bouillon or consomme
    1 1/2 c. white rice (not quick cooking kind)
    1/2 c. browned almonds
    1 small can mushrooms
Preparation
    Brown ground meat and onions together.
    Drain fat; add salt (not much, the soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce contain a lot of salt) and pepper to taste, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, consomme and uncooked rice.
    Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Add mushrooms and slivered almonds; return to heat until last 2 ingredients have been heated through.
