Superb Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 stick margarine, melted
4 eggs, separated
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine sugar and flour; add melted margarine.
In another bowl, beat the egg yolks and 1 egg; add milk and vanilla.
Combine the two mixtures.
Pour into a 10-inch unbaked pastry shell.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until custard sets.
Cover with meringue made from remaining egg whites.
Sprinkle additional sugar on top of meringue until it is well coated.
Bake at 325\u00b0 until it is golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.
