Rosamarina Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. rosamarina, cooked, drained and rinsed
    2 cans crushed pineapple (reserve the juice)
    1 (15 oz.) can mandarin oranges (reserve the juice)
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
Preparation
    Combine sugar, reserved juice, eggs and flour. Cook until a custard-like sauce. Fold into the rosamarina and let set overnight.
    Next day fold in fruit and Cool Whip.
    Refrigerate until ready to serve.
    Marshmallows and maraschino cherries are optional.
