Ambrosia Salad Platter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can sliced pineapple (cold)
    2 to 3 peeled oranges, sliced
    squeeze of fresh lemon juice
    cold maraschino cherries or strawberries
    thawed cold Cool Whip
    Angel Flake coconut
Preparation
    Peel and slice oranges.
    Squeeze fresh lemon juice on the slices and store, covered, in this refrigerator.
    Just before serving, drain the pineapple and cherries (or wash and hull strawberries).
    Use a large platter to arrange a layer of orange slices, then a layer of pineapple slices.
    Sprinkle coconut to taste over all.
    Spoon a dollop of Cool Whip into the center of each pineapple slice and top each with a cherry or strawberry.
