Hawaiian Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb. chicken
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. grated onion
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 c. margarine
2 1/2 c. pineapple chunks, drained
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Place chicken in large bowl.
Combine soy sauce, onion and ginger.
Pour over chicken.
Let stand at least 30 minutes.
Turn chicken to coat all sides.
Drain chicken and reserve sauce.
Coat chicken with cornstarch.
Place margarine in large shallow baking pan.
Put pan in hot (425\u00b0) oven until margarine is melted. Place chicken in pan, skin side down.
Bake for 30 minutes or until well browned.
Turn chicken over.
Combine pineapple and juice, lemon juice and reserved sauce.
Pour over chicken.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until chicken is tender.
