French Silk Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1 1/8 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. chocolate sq. or substitute 4 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa, mixed with 1 1/2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar, chocolate and vanilla.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating each one for 5 minutes (no cheating here).
    Put in a cooled pie shell; top with whipping cream and nutmeats if you wish.
