Cool Lime Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (4 serving size) Jell-O vanilla flavor pudding and pie filling
    1 pkg. (4 serving size) Jell-O brand lime flavor gelatin
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. sugar (optional)
    1 1/2 tsp. grated lime rind
    2 Tbsp. lime juice
    3 1/2 c. thawed Cool Whip topping
    1 prepared 9-inch chocolate crumb crust
Preparation
    Combine first four ingredients in saucepan.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil.
    Add lime rind and juice.
    Pour
    into bowl, cover with plastic wrap and chill until slightly thickened.
    Fold in 2 1/2 cups of whipped topping.
    Spoon into crust.
    Freeze 1 hour or refrigerate 3 hours before serving.
    Garnish with remaining whipped topping and lime slices, if desired.
