Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fresh bunch broccoli, chopped very fine
    4 c. chicken stock (broth)
    4 to 6 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 pkg. cream of chicken Cup-a-Soup
    2 pt. half and half
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cut into 1 inch cubes
    cream of mushroom soup for thickness (optional)
Preparation
    Simmer broccoli in chicken stock until tender.
    Stir in the Cup-a-Soup packages and the half and half.
    Add the cheese until melted.
    Stir to thoroughly mix ingredients.
    At this time, mix the cornstarch with a small amount of water and add to the soup for desired thickness.
    (You can add a can of cream of mushroom soup at this time if you want a thicker soup.)
