German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix (Duncan Hines)
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1 jar (small) caramel ice cream topping (12 oz.)
1 pkg. Heath bar chips
1 small Cool Whip
Preparation

Make cake mix according to directions in 9 x 13-inch dish. While hot, out of oven, punch holes all through cake.
Spread with sweetened condensed milk.
Spread with caramel topping.
Sprinkle 1/2 package of Heath bar chips over cake.
Cool thoroughly.
Spread with Cool Whip and sprinkle remaining Heath Bar chips.
May make 24 hours ahead.
Makes 15 to 18 servings.
