Sweetheart Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. drained pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. Knox gelatine
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. cherry juice
    6 oz. cream cheese
    12 oz. cherries, chopped
    9 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Combine pineapple, sugar, lemon juice and cherry juice.
    Put on the heat, but do not boil.
    Soften gelatine in cold water; add to pineapple mixture.
    Add cream cheese and chopped cherries to Cool Whip.
    Mix altogether.
    Put in refrigerator to set.
