Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 egg whites
3 egg yolks
1 1/2 c. boiling water
6 Tbsp. powdered sugar
1 baked pie shell
Preparation

Combine cornstarch, lemon juice, lemon rind and sugar.
Beat egg yolks and add to first mixture.
Gradually add boiling water. Heat to boil over direct heat for 4 minutes, gently stirring constantly.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Beat egg whites until stiff, not dry.
Gradually add powdered sugar.
Spread on top of lemon filling.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 4 to 5 minutes.
Cool away from draft.
