Wilted Greens Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. fresh spinach
    1 c. fresh bean sprouts
    1/2 c. sliced water chestnuts
    4 slices bacon
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. ketchup
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Tear greens into bite sized pieces and place in mixing bowl, adding sprouts and water chestnuts.
    Cut bacon into small pieces and cook over medium heat until crisp, do not drain.
    Add onion, vinegar, ketchup and sugar to bacon and drippings, stirring to combine.
    Cook and stir till mixture is heated through.
    Remove pan from heat, stir greens into pan, stirring until spinach is slightly wilted.
    Turn into salad bowl and serve warm.
