Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. hot water
1 egg
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Mix in order given.
Do not stir until hot water is added. Bake at 350\u00b0 until no dough shows on toothpick.
Better if it is not overcooked.
