Country Biscuits(For 3 Dozen Biscuits) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. warm water
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Cut in shortening.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add to dry ingredients with buttermilk.
    Knead until smooth.
    Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Dip each in melted butter and fold over.
    Place on baking sheet and let rise until double in size. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
