Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. light corn syrup
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 3/4 c. pecans
    1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
Preparation
    Melt butter over low heat (or use microwave).
    Remove from heat.
    Mix in sugar and corn syrup.
    Blend in eggs and vanilla extract.
    Add pecans.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until well done.
