Asparagus With Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked cut asparagus
    1 Tbsp. salad oil
    1/2 c. finely chopped bacon
    1 c. chicken bouillon
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1 tsp. Accent
Preparation
    Heat the salad oil in a skillet.
    Add bacon and cook, stirring, until the bacon is golden and crisp.
    Add the asparagus; cook until heated through, then slowly add the bouillon and soy sauce and cook for 3 minutes.
    While this is cooking, stir the cornstarch into the cold water until it forms a smooth paste, then stir this into the mixture in the skillet and continue cooking, stirring constantly, until the sauce is smooth and thick and clear.
    Add the Accent; give it one last stir, then serve.
    Serves 4.
