Aunt Joan'S Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    5 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
    3 large eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix crumbs with 1/4 cup sugar and butter in bowl.
    Press mixture in bottom of 9-inch spring-form pan.
    Mix cream cheese and remaining cup of sugar until smooth.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating just to blend after each addition.
    Mix in vanilla.
    Fold in sour cream thoroughly.
    Pour batter into prepared pan.
    Set cheese cake on center rack.
    Fill small pan with water and place on bottom rack.
    Bake 30 minutes, turn off oven and leave in oven for 1 hour.
    Do not open door.
    Remove and let cool.
