Mrs. Young'S "No Peek" Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef chuck, cubed
    1 sm. can tomatoes
    1 c. celery, cut into lg. pieces
    2 onions, sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    3 Tbsp. tapioca
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 clove garlic
    green pepper to taste
    3/4 potatoes chunked to desired size
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
    Mix all ingredients together (do not brown meat).
    Cover and bake for 5 hours.
    Serves 6.
