Chicken Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. thinly sliced onions
    1/2 c. slivered green pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 c. slivered celery
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    4 c. stock (make with bouillon cubes)
    1/2 c. sliced water chestnuts
    1 (No. 2) can bean sprouts
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. cold water
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 c. cooked chicken
Preparation
    Saute onions and green pepper in oil with salt for 5 minutes. Add celery, mushrooms and stock. Cover and cook slowly until celery is done.
    Add chestnuts and bean sprouts.
