Ingredients

1 can beets (do not drain)
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. ground cloves (to taste)
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 or 3 Tbsp. orange juice (to taste)
few drops of vinegar
Preparation

Fry onion in butter until soft.
Add beets and some of the juice.
Add remaining ingredients.
Heat and stir until sugar is dissolved and flavors have blended.
Serve warm.
