English Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. water
    1 stick butter
    1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    12 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients, cook to light crack (285\u00b0).
    Pour onto well-buttered jelly roll pan.
    Cool. Melt chocolate chips. Spread 1/2 on toffee.
    Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
    Cool. Turn over and repeat with chocolate chips and nuts.
    Cool.
    Break into pieces.
