Bacon-Potato Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
    1 c. chopped onions
    2 c. chopped potatoes
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, over medium heat, cook bacon until browned.
    Add onions.
    Continue cooking until tender, about 3 minutes; drain.
    Add potatoes, water, salt and pepper.
    Cook until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Stir in soup, sour cream and milk.
    Cook, stirring occasionally, until heated through, about 5 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
