Chanukah Fried Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 lb. chicken, cut up into 8 pieces
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg or cinnamon
2 medium cloves garlic, finely chopped
juice of 1 lemon
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 lemon, cut into 6 wedges
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Sprinkle chicken with nutmeg, garlic, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
Place in heavy-duty plastic bag; add lemon juice and 2 tablespoons olive oil.
Seal bag; refrigerate several hours or overnight, turning bag occasionally to mix the chicken with the marinade.
