Eggs With Asparagus And Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. each white pepper and ground nutmeg
1 tsp. dry mustard
2 c. milk
1 1/4 c. (5 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 pkg. (about 9 oz.) frozen asparagus pieces, cooked and drained
2 c. diced cooked chicken
4 eggs
4 tsp. butter or margarine, melted and cooled
1 pkg. (about 9 oz.) frozen asparagus spears, cooked and drained (optional)
Preparation

In a pan over medium heat, melt the 2 tablespoons butter. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, nutmeg and mustard; cook until bubbly.
Gradually stir in milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth.
Stir in cheese until it is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Stir in asparagus pieces and chicken; remove from heat.
