Fresh Apple Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 2/3 c. self-rising flour
1/4 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
2/3 c. apples, cubed and cooked with sugar and cinnamon to taste
1 egg, beaten
Preparation

Cook and cool apples before using.
Preheat oven to 400\u00b0 (380\u00b0 convection).
Put flour and salt in large bowl.
Cut in butter. Stir in sugar and cooled apples.
Whisk egg and milk together and stir into flour mixture.
Use muffin pan (12) pregreased, or may be dropped onto a cookie sheet.
Bake 20 minutes.
