Best Gingerbread Ever - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. unbleached white flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. oil
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    2/3 c. light molasses (Grandma's)
Preparation
    Stir together flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon and salt; set aside.
    In a mixing bowl, beat remaining ingredients until well blended.
    Stir in flour mixture for about 25 strokes just until moistened.
    Turn into well greased 8-inch square pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Cool on a rack 10 to 15 minutes.
    Serve warm with whipped cream or lemon curd.
