Fettuccine With Peas(Serves 4) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. grated onion
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 1/4 c. hot milk
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1 lb. white fettuccine, cooked
    1 c. snow peas, blanched
    4 slices crisp bacon, finely chopped
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    salt
    few drops Tabasco sauce
Preparation
    Heat butter with onion in saucepan.
    Mix in flour and cook 2 minutes over low heat, stirring once.
    Pour in half of milk; whisk well and add remaining milk, along with seasonings.
    Cook sauce 10 minutes over low heat.
    Stir at least 2 to 3 times.
    Add pasta and peas to sauce; stir and cook 2 to 3 minutes more.
    Correct seasoning and garnish portions with bacon and cheese.
