Creamy Carrot Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    1 lb. carrots, thinly sliced
    1/2 lb. white potatoes, sliced
    2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
    4 to 5 c. defatted chicken stock
    1/2 tsp. each: basil, parsley, tarragon or to suit taste
    1/2 tsp. white pepper or to taste
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter a few minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat until carrots are very soft (about 20 minutes).
