Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. nutmeg
pinch of salt
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
3 2/3 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. cream
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add nutmeg, salt and eggs, one at a time; then add cream.
Beat 2 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients; mix lightly and drop or roll out and cut.
Sprinkle with sugar, if desired.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until lightly browned.
